The rotor box say premium and they don't look cheap. The brake pads are a different story I've never uesed truestop pads.they are semi met. I'm putting them on Friday so I'll see how they work. Hey I do have a question would useing 100 octane fuel clean out the carbon.

i wouldnt use stuff like that on a efi engine. it will run out of adjustment and could cause serious issues. if you have carbon build up get some seafoam. they have a gas treatment, and i think they have a tb/intake cleaner now that you put into your air stream

I have been using Rockauto for parts lately. The service is excellent, though they do charge shipping. They also have GOOD parts. I use Akebono Ceramic pads and the car stops like a F-1 racer. I also bought rotors. They sell Wagner, Raybestos etc. The parts stores by me all sell that Chinese crap. You may want to try this place. www.brakeplanet.com

Bearings
Hey Bill
Well I did not hear or feel anything in the front end. I took it to a place here in Columbus Ohio, Stream Line they have been in business for years my grand father took his cars there. They did an inspection before I left for Florida just to be safe and they found it to be a little loose. Ever since then my Bonneville has been falling apart, water pump, valve cover gaskets, power steering rack and hose, struts plates and bearings. I do have 115000+ on it.Extended warranty covers all

Extended warranties are a God send. My crossover gaskets went after 4 years and 19K mileage. $800 job for $65 of gaskets. Incredible. I've been lucky with stuff. Car has 55K now. Good luck.

Don't I know it!!! If I did not have that warranty the car would be sitting going nowhere. I'll tell you what in the past two months all this stuff is going bad. The car is going to Dan Tobin next Tuesday for the steering rack. I love the car it sounds good and gets good mpgs. On my trip to Florida I was getting any where from 25 to 32 mpgs depending on what gas I used, I did find that I get better milage on mid grade shell than any other gas I've used.
