That 96 ISMA Aurora got me worked up so I figured I'd share this. I guess it premeres at Sebring this month. But I think its in a race series that done before the main event. You can be sure I'm hoping for great success for this handsome devil.

WOW!!! Rogue has almost as much torque, but I bet with a PCM he'd be over those torque #'* and a bit closer in the HP category, but still a ways to go there.
Yeah, I'd say it does 'look' ricey.

BONE HEADS ITS A RACE CAR ! THEY NEED WINGS,GFX and eye catching paint jobs. Its a race prepared CTS nothing less. IT AINT RICE WHEN ITS FUNCTIONAL. Rice came from copying race cars. Cars that were around long before everybody got their little rice fettish'* going. Aerodynamic function that was developed by European and American road racers. Way, way, way before RICE. Do you guys call NASCARs rice. The Nascar air dams are the air dams some of those kit companys are copying.

Someone posts a plug for an American effort in road racing and all the narrow minded can spew out is RICE - Real, real deep! You know like a mud puddle. No Im not sorry for flaming. People got to open their minds and look back in time to the history of the auto. It didnt start in the late 80'* with the "rice" movement, it was all started here and in Europe long before the Japs and their little following even came into the picture. Now "rice" has become a sterio type that is on the end of everybodys tongue waiting to pop out as a perverted defination of the word just to insult as soon as something extra comes along.

ARRRRGGG!!!!!!!!!

Relax now, no need for the 'bone head' comment haha. But yeah you're right that'* certainly not a production caddy there. it'* the race version of the CTS-V. And yes all that wild style works. Oh excep tthe lights, i think those (as on many race cars) are painted on.

Be careful voicing opinion when directed at someones espcially when its inflamatory. General opinions are usually tolerated. Tofu, their are other types of racing not just NASCAR that this car may be legit for but I agree, I think a lot of this is for luook not necessarly function. The wheels are not quickchange, the spoiler is doubtfully functional, but I do see a rollbar and some side exhaust so who knows. Maybe its setup for streetracing, but if thats the case i would call it Rice, until it kicked my *** on the street, then I would call it master

GT type car, maybe a future Le Mans car?

It'* got an Ls6, toss some money into it, and he'll kill anyone. Wing looks functional, because the lower part is really just sheet metal.

There simple just wasnt any other wored to describe the ignorance of the statement. In fact I was being kind.

Thanks for being the only one that read the info SSsupEi. Its a 2 car factory effort, debuting at Sebring this weekend. Its 75 % production, I dont know or understand the classes but its probably running against A8'* and that type of prepared sports production sedans. Different classes have different specs, possibly the reason for production wheels and conventional hood. Its quite possible the 4pin hood is spec for front opening hoods.

Im sure this would handle great without the down force and lots of lift under the chassis Fortunantly their going there to win not to look good.

Trofeo - wanna explain the function of the NASCAR "little lip", this should be interestring. Not its original starting point but how it came to be the huge nearly upright "little lip" that it is today.
Is it to
A. creat down force
B Deflect bugs for cars slipstreaming
C. Create drag to help govern top speeds

Why do top fuel dragsters use wing ? Or are they all ricers now as well ? However that may be the origin of the wing, not sure. Maybe wing bearers should be called fuelers instead of ricers ? Maybe the origin of the wing was the Charger Daytona ? Maybe it was the Porsche Carrera in the early 70'* ? Hard telling but we know one thing for sure its all rice today, eh ?

I dont like wings, cant stand them infact. I cant stand the little things factorys have been putting on production cars or the last 15 years either. Bonnevilles, Intrigues, GP'* just to name a few cars I actually like that came with wings. I still prefer the wingless versions of the same cars. If I was going to the track I'd have one on my car in an instant.

I didnt post this topic to say hey look at the Caddy with the wing and GXF. What are your opinions?

I posted it to say hey Caddys going to Sebring to go head to head with the best in its class. Lets keep our fingers crossed. There will be some riced out Vettes there too kickin butt case anyones interested. CRIKIES !
