The 4.0 V8 Northstar is classified under RPO code L47

do yourself a favor 89, youve already done the exhaust, intake is comming. i did all of my intake and exhaust work (2.5" plumbing, dynomax superturbo muffs) and after that put in a 2.5" carsounds highflow cat i got off ebay for like $60. i noticed a bigger gain from just than everything else, even though i had already opened up the exhaust that cat was STILL a HUGE bottleneck. your car will be much "torquer" and pull better up top. 1 thing though, you have obdII so you'll have to get a o2 simulator so you don't throw a code.

I will be doing the high flow cat next spring. I'm also waiting on some R and D out of Domestic Performance for my CAI.

Once that is done, I hope to keep pace with L67'* off the line

Mikey - The site I looked at was Oldsmobiles on line car site. It was the section for the OSV vehicals gave all the info on them and there was deffinantly a OSV Aurora. All four of them were on there. I dont remember anything about the use of the big Norstar engine though. Seemed like it was all just handling and appearence stuff. Its been probably 2 years though. They were all that red color like the Intrigue you show.

Nice links for the Intrigue though, thank. Now I just wish I knew why my floppy will save the photo (name) but not let me see the picture ??????????????

Have you seen the pictures of the 97 Alero Alfa concept car. Very very stunning , at least to me. Very fat rear quarters as in European sports car, Oldsmobile nose, real nice. I did save them but I dont know how to send photos.
