Default steering wheel control

it seems my steering wheel controls dont work is there anyway to fix them or do some tests to track down the problem? i have the stock bose Head-unit

Wires loose, or the radio is shot?

nope radio is fine where are the connections? at the back of the radio there fine

Hmm... i would say check the buttons on the steering wheel, but that only applies to 92-95. It could happen with the 96-99.

Game..

Pull the HU and test the light green wire (not at home and don't know which cavity).. the resistance to ground should change as you press buttons.

Or pop the switches out and check their connections to the wiring. From there I'd pull the airbag and check the main connection and check continuity from there to the HU.
