ok like SE, SLE, SSEI.

you will want something that is only hot when the key is on. I still would suggest running something off the radio. that is the best way

on the 2000+ there isn't anything that'* 'On' when the ignition is on. Everything always has power, except for the cigarette lighter. That is only on when the ignition is on. Everything else gets turned on by data signals pretty much. I checked my fuse box and everything has constant power except for the cigarette lighter circuit. that also remains on 10 minutes after ignition shut-off.

I came up with the same problem when I checked all my fuses. :( I hate putting in switches. Some people like them, but I think they look tacky. I guess I will have to take apart my dash to get to the back of the stereo one of these days.
I've put stereos in every car i've owned and this is the first car that I haven't been able to find a full wire schematic on-line.
Anyone know a forum member with a 2000 ssei that has an amp in it? Please give me a name, or point him/her my way

for an amp turn-on just splice into the cigarette lighter positive wire like I mentioned earlier. It turns on with the ignition switch, and stays on 10 minutes after you turn the ignition off..
