Default Will this fit my 93 SSE

am lookin to swap out my stock tape deck with this. Will it fit?
My car is the 93 SSE with the U85 amp and speaker option and and I believe either the UK1 or UX1 sterio option. Tape, AM/FM/ Clock. with the under dash amp and slider gain control.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Have a look and see if you think it would fit.

Thanks Guys

No. That is a double DIN radio, and the 92-99 radios are DIN and a half.

Default better off going for an earlier model sterio?

so I would be better off swapping out for a cd player out of a pre 99 model then.

I know there is a tech bulliton on the swap for the pre 99 radio.
Any suggestions. Want to keep factory.

Cheers

you can only use a 92/93 radio..no other years are compatable bonneville wise.

a lot of people go aftermarket and get a hu mount from hu-mount.com or whatever.

Default other years

I think it was will, may be wrong, that wrote an article for the tech board that explains all that is needed to swap over to a later year radio, is to do with the climate control dimmer.. Other than that is is able to be done. I think from the way the article was written he had done the swap himself

With a little extra work, you can swap newer 1.5 din radios in.

I installed a 98 or 99 CD player in my 93 SSE. No, it'* not a slide-in switch, but it'* not terribly painful either. I had to slightly modify the wiring and had to modify the left mounting bracket, but other than that it slid right in. Everything worked perfectly too.
