Default Will this amp fit my Alt?

Hello Bonnie GuRu'*,

Will this Amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...00.5.html#tabs Fit my Alt?

How much is the Alt Amp Output? I read its 105A. This is a 1300w amp 4.1 speaker output.

I did replace the HU with a AMR and did buy the PAC Harness. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...C2R-GM32R.htmlTHe install was a breeze IF you unlatched the two (2) plastic hold pins on your upper gauges.

I have a Kenwood HU
Infinity'* all round
12" Sub pushed by 180w at the moment.

Yes the speakers were a "female dog" to install. I rather suck on my toes next time.

Let me know if I have your folks blessing on this all-in-one 1300w amp.

Thanx!

Viper

you only push 180 watts to that sub? can you hear it lol

I run a 1200 watt Kenwood with just a little dimming but I ran heavier wire from the alt to the front fuse block then heaverier wires from the battery positive to the rear fuse block since thats where my amp is connected

without a cap there is some dimming at idle but other than that everything is fine

Well crunch amps are not CEA certified so it will do a little bit less than what they advertise it at. It only has 1 70 amp fuse on it so you alternator should handle it.

Correction. I misstated the watt usage on the 12" sub. The correct amount in 180 RMS output @ 4 ohms.

Also. If the lights are dimming, that means you are putting to much stress on your alt.

If I had the RPMs up yes, at idle below ~800 RPM the alt is cuttof because it just can't put out enough. I don't know why GM did it because something seems better than nothing
