Default Quick Amp Question.

Ok,

Is there any difference in a 4/3 channel amp or a 2/1 channel amp?

The subs I'll be getting are 2 12 inch kickers in a sealed box.

Must've been one of my posts after I was waking up. Nobody understands my typing when I'm half asleep

(or maybe no one understands me at all)

4/3 channel amp can basically also be a 4/3/2/1 amp. It'* saying that you can bridge the channels to make a 3 channel amp (sub+2 speakers), 2 channel amp (2 speakers), or a mono amp (sub). Depending on what kind of subs you're getting, it might not be the best choice for you, especially if you're getting DVCs. Usually, you want a mono amp with at least 100w RMS (IMO)

Dont forget to make sure your amp can handle the subs Ohm load..... Lets start with your subs. What model number and how many voice coils at what Ohm? That will determine the amp you buy based on what ohm load your going to give it.
