Default Baffles!

Most of you may have seen these, but i know that distortion in the 6x9 from subs is a big thing. I get it at mid to loud volumes, and it only goes away when the subs drown out the 6x9 chuffing around.

Think those, or those with some reinforced "exoskeleton" type thing would help? Like run some metal along sides and into the bottom to stiffen it?

I'm just sick of my subs making them distort. I turn the subs off, and it'* fine, my bass is @ 0 DB gain on my HU most of the time, if i'm in the mood i'l go up a couple notches, but i want the EQ for it flat.

some people choose to just take them out, but a reinforced baffle would probly work good

They would make a cleaner mid-bass, but the point of this, is so they aren't beind distorted and fighting against the sub woofers from the trunk.

You've tried these on the 6x9 then? I know what a sealed 6x9 sounds like, i had some in boxes in an old car back in the day, but i'd love to try this out.

Would be 'bout $10?
