New H/U
Got my new head unit in the other day. Kind of stuck at the end of the install.
It'* a Pioneer DEH-P5900ib, with iPod control and a wheel interface module.
Got everything put together OK, but I got stuck on programming the damn interface box. I gave up and I'm taking it over to Best Buy tomorrow to see if they can figure it out and maybe see if they have a male/male mini jack cable with 90* fittings for my XM SkyFi2 dock to connect to the Aux input.
Everything else works great, the only thing I miss about the last HU was that the EQs were easier to set. The new HU has a 7-band EQ, where the old one had two different EQs, a 3 band, and a bass/treble, between the two EQs you could refine the sound very tightly. The new unit is gonna take some getting used to.
The iPod control works great, gets great sound, but the "Songs" list comes up in track-listing order instead of alpha-numeric.
