no cooling fans, the signal to noise ratio is only 75DBA though, and a 3 year warranty.

Its a nice amp but a couple not so perfect things. */N ratio is a little low, and 1% THD? whats up with that? thats a tad high. No Cooling fans! and a little curious why whey decided to use 6 fuses instead of leaving em out all together and recommending an inline circuit breaker. Just think if u need that many fuses its time to step up to a solid curcuit amp with inline circuit breaker. But still a nice amp

ya i wondered the same thing, but its the only amp i can find under 500$ that puts out that kind of power at 2 ohms. On alpines website they say that you can 4 type rs off it or 4 type *'*, i probably wont be listening to them at full tilt all the time so it shouldnt get too hot.

theres a guy on SMD selling 2 Sundown SAZ2000Ds fro around 400 each. sundown is thee **** lol for lack of words. and bigger the motor on the subs the more motor force it can produce. IMHO id say there is better out there for that money for sure you would just need to figure out what it is thats wanted from this system, how much spending limit and how much room to use.yeah running amps at lower impedence will make your electrical work harder but you stated and HO alt would be added if need be or whatever. its possible to get a sundown system for about that same price, a lil more due to beefier subs that will no doubt smach them eclipses. SAZ 2000d -415 shipped = 2 12" sundown sa 12s 170-190 each, 600RMS but people have ran over 1k each with no probs. heres some links for ideas but i really think you can get alot better for that money .http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/inde...roducts_id=251. i wont post links to other forums. i also have a team mate selling his SAZ3000D for 450 which is a killer price and just another ida of whats out there lol that one will do 3k plus at 12.xx volts and even more with a better electric. never need more than that agian lol unless ya really wanna do some number chasing on the meter. also for subs check out the Fi SSDs, they are awsome subs for the price and can be reconed if ever needed to be. as where them eclipses and alot of subs out there if blow they just turn into heavy paper weights lol. ok i type/talk too much lol

My budget for subs is about 160 each and 440 for the amp, and its prolly going to be a few months until i get that alternator. Im just trying to get a system that hits every note with heart stopping bass, im tired of having to max out my amps in order for it to be loud enough for me when it never is. I wanna be able to barley turn the gain up and have it be ridiculous.

id really try sundown man. sorry for sounding pushy its not that its just that out of every amp brand size ive owned and heard the sundowns are the best. they are very powerfull, very reliable and do over there rms ratings usually. great customer service too. i stepped up from a kenwood 500 rms amp to a sundown SAE1000D and i was totally blow away with the sound and how much it put out. then stepped up to the SAZ1500d and was thrown back again cuz this amp is a beast. id love to be able to get the 3000 from my team mate but no funds for that right now. hell whats yout thoughts on a single 15" setup? im running 1 15" and im still impressed by it being only one sub. check out my youtube vids and you will see lol. i just dont really think those 12s will give the intense beat your wanting. they will do there job for sure but when you want/need more then its time to try something dif lol. just trying to help to mang cuz i was on that hunt about a year ago and discovered DCsoundlabs and Sundown lol ill never even look at other brand equipment the same again lol

heres Fi link too for window shopping purposes https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraud...iew.shopscript if SSD were to blow/fry it costs 65 to recone it to new again. if ya bloe one of them eclipses it will cost you the price of the sub to replce it with a new one again. and the reconeable subs are still worth money even blown cuz of the rebuildable options with them

Forget ur Sundown. LOL. PPI PCX2400 is the HIGHEST QUALITY AND THE POWER CANT BE MATCHED!
shee if this kid still has this one for sale for $225!!!!! They put out 1600watt rms at 1 ohm. i sent mine in and had it modded so it was 1/2 ohm stable. When the bass would hit it would stall the newish car it was installed in. But that was modded. And it wouldnt get hot! pushing 2 Audiobahn Flame q'* in a sealed box to there limits with under 1/4 gain and BB off!
