sealed is the way for you cuz if you go bandpass it will not be as tight and also bandpass is supposed to get you to super low notes while playing them loud (letting it breathe more) which in a car defeats the purpose because the trunk is acting like an enclosure anyway so go sealed and you will be happy.

Bandpass is good for only a small range of frequencies, and it'* very hard to make it work outside of that tonal range.

I've had both, Sealed is GREAT!!! Ported is nice if you know how to build right, and have appropriate drivers, and bandpass is just a way to get volume out of a quiet setup.

Listen to them at the store.

Bandpass = sidestreet boomer

Ported = Sits on both sides of the fence, depending on setup. Can't be best at either though

Sealed = Loud and clear. Won't sound like ***.

i noticed that the amplifier wasnt brought up. what amp do you have? what power rating is it?
heres my suggestion. if you got plenty of power, then go with the sealed enclosure.
if power is small and limited, then go with a bandpass enclosure. its that simple
