Default Bose tape player to stock CD player

In a '97 SSEI, I want to swap out the Bose and put my OEM CD player in his car. I put the CD player in my SE, but i don't have steering control buttons. I want to verify that he'll be able to use his steering wheel controls. And i want to know if I have any wiring issues etc, because I'm replacing a Bose.

Apologize for OT, but as usual I have a story... The owner is 75 years old and has a white with tan leather, 55k miles. It looks like he put most of the miles on it in his living room. Absolutely pure pristine. He says the "girls in FLA (retirement community) think it'* cool".

I have to get some photos.

Drive a Bonneville, it'll keep ya young.
