it honestly would be better to sell the 89 CD player on the club here ( as i know MANY would be interested in it) and buy one off ebay that fits your car

if your 89 works fine, I'll consider purchasing it from you.

sorry about the late post.

the cd player is a sony, not pontiac. my bad. the tranny is burntout and will cost more than what the car is worth to rebuild. the tape deck in the 95 bonni, i would be more than happy to put on the forum after/if i can get the cd player out of the 89 before the charity tows the vehicle tomorrow(friday the 6th of Oct).

thank you so much

anyone know how to get an aftermarket cd player out of a 89 bonni? the cd player(sony) was already in the vehicle before i got it.

sorry about the confusion.

i got the car 4 weeks ago for free and now i see why it was free. at least i got a cd player out of it, after dumping $110 in gas and 3 containers of tranny fluid, i still lost on the deal. car is now donated. tax stuff, yay!
