Default Trunk CD Changer

The cd changer in the trunk skips at every little bump.Does anyone have a cure for this? I have cleaned the lens several times with no improvement.

It does sound like it needs to be cleaned. How are you cleaning the lens?

I cleaned the lens with a cd lens cleaner,it helped some. The wheels are not stock and it got better with the new tires.

I would take the changer out and have it professionally cleaned. Those CD laser lens cleaners can brush some of the dust off the lens, but there is probably lots more dust inside the unit that needs to come out, otherwise the lens will just get coated again.

How is it mounted in there? Could you dampen it maybe?

Still under warranty?
