Trouble with PAC SWI-X
I am having trouble with my PAC SWI-X interface. I had a problem where the box lost power and I needed to reprogram it.
Upon trying to reprogram it, I am unable to get it into "Learn Mode" to re-learn my steering wheel buttons.
The lights blink and the left light turns on to be in "program mode" but when I hit a steering wheel button, it does not register on the box or switch to the right light so I can then hit the corresponding button on my remote to program it.
It seems that my wire going to the steering wheel is not giving the box the correct information. I know it changes resistance, and the box reads that change in resistance as a button be depressed, but how can I check that the buttons are telling the wire the correct information. I have a multi-meter, but I wasn't sure how exactly I could test a wire with only one open end.

This is for the SWC-JACK but it might give you some insight as far as how the actual unit understands electronic commands. Also make sure that the dial (Radio Select Switch) on the side corresponds with the required setting of the head unit (radio, cd player, etc.) http://www.pac-audio.com/flash/swicalculator.swf

I have done a little troubleshooting and I have found out that the wire going to my steering wheel is not changing electronically when i depress a button on the steering wheel. I tore out the footwell of my car and only found a double 2 Amp fuse, but both were still good.
Here'* what my car looked like.
This is the fuse.
Is this the correct fuse going to the steering wheel or is there another that I may have missed?
I haven't gotten anywhere with this. : (
