Going back to stock
I haven't posted here in forever, but I figured I might as well try one last time. I'm trading in my Bonneville this weekend and I'm putting the stock delco radio back in (from aftermarket pioneer) and for whatever reason the radio is not working at all. It lights up when I turn the lights on, and the anti-theft thing blinks, but other than that it seems to be completely useless. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? For reference I have a 97 SSE with the factory bose system. Thanks so much!

According to the owners manual it'* supposed to say "LOC" or something of the sort on the screen and then I'm supposed to put in some code (which my dad programed 10 years ago - so it'* iffy if I even have the right code anyways) but it'* not showing anything on the screen at all.

That'* what I was thinking... I figued as long as I had the dash ripped apart I would try and fix it though, not like they are going to give me much money for the car anyways.

I hate to ask the dumb question, but are you sure that you are getting power to the unit?
Check I/P fuse block fuses 9C, 4A, and 8D.
Disconnect radio and measure voltage at harness connector terminal 10. If you don't get approx. battery voltage, then follow harness for breaks/open ground or loose connections at all connectors.
And ultimately, depending on how and where the radio was stored, it may have developed problems on it'* own, like radio connectors shorted together or corrosion on the connector terminals.
