curious on how to remove the peice that covers cd player ecc and all of that, does it just pop out like the older models or do U need tools?

Would I follow the exact same procedure for my 94 SSEi? Referring just to the taking off the trim part, or should I start a new topic for this?

your 94 is easier, you don't need to remove the part that goes above the instrument cluster. Use your finger tips and pry out just below the cig lighter. It'* only held in with clips
