Default Running power wire to the trunk

When it comes to this audio stuff im a complete idiot, so I am having a very smart friend install my system into the Bonneville. We are curious to know is there a hole in the fire wall to run the power cord through into the car or do we have to drill one; or does someone have any other suggestions? In my cutlass we ran it through the fender and door, (not that smart i know) but on the bonne I wanna do everything right, its too nice of a car too do everything poorly.

Thanks

in the 96-99 teh firewall is a little different. I found that if you take out the wire harness you can slide a piece of anything back there to give a little more protection to what is behind the firewall. It isn't really necessary but it can't hurt.

drill hole around or at green dot.
