Default Stereo swap

I've looked at posts but can't find anything.
What would be needed to swap my Delco stereo with the Bose and would it be
worth it (anything would be better).
I was also thinking of some MB Quarts but want to keep the stock deck.
what ya think.

there is no reason to convert to bose... but MB Quart is a different story... Bose systems in my opinion are complete crap in vehicles. they should be kept in home and thats all.. you can keep your stock radio if you use mbquart speakers, however, they will perform better off of an amplifier, or atleast an aftermarket headunit.

Toasted... Bose don't belong in the home either.... no directionality, no imaging... no imagination...lol...except when it comes to their pricing structure.

Don't forget marketing.

Bose does have good stuff in some cars. However the Bonneville never had audio quality in it'* top audio option that lasted more then say 5 years.

My dads 2001 Audi A8L has a 8 speaker BOSE system and it is amazing! I have no idea why you think it is complete crap because it is the clearest sound i have ever heard. There is no static noise, the bass is amazing, and it has extremely clear high end. Maybe you havent heard BOSE in a luxury car before, trust me, in a top of the line audi the sound is stunning.
