Default Aftermarket Radio/T.V

I have a aftermarket radio.t.v(touch one button and the tv will slide out) And of course I can't watch tv while i drive I bought a switch I just don't know exactly how to split the cables. Also I was to add a gps to ,y t.v screen. Instead of buying a new one I have inputs in the back of my radio so any suggestion. For the gps I want something that will have no screen on it, I want something that will be able to hook up from the outputs and look at the gps from there.

what exactly do you want the switch to do?

and for the GPS you need a unit that will hook into more than just video inputs on your head unit, it needs to transfer the data you are putting in on the screen not just video signal, what brand and model head unit do you have?

With the switch I will be able to watch tv at any time because the cable I have is not connected to anything. So when the t.v comes out it say "Off For your safety" I don't know which cable was the emergency brake that which I bought the switch. My head unit is not a like name brand it. I bought it overseas. But could you explain more about the gps.

the off for your saftey message shows up beacuse you don't have the park switch wire connected, so grounding that wire should take care of that, to be safe you should put a toggle somewhere inline with that wire

as for the GPS, there are units that are made for certain brands of head units, like if you have a Kenwood that can have nav on it you need to buy the Kenwood GPS adapter, you can't just use video inputs because you need to type data into the GPS through the head unit which would require a totally different connection
