Default Where is the power antenna wire (pink)

I am putting an amp and speaker in my 05 SE, and since the amp is in the trunk and the battery is under the back seat, I was hoping to find the power antenna wire back there too, that way the whole install wil be in the back.

Can anyone tell me if I will be able to hit that back there? I did find a pink one (on the first try even) that is off and on with the key, only problem is that it is not on when the key is in Acc.

I'm sorry if this has ben mentioned before, but I have searched several hundred posts and havent found an answer. I know it is pink and is behind the radio, but like I said, I am hoping I can get to it from the back.

Thanks for any help,

Jeff

you have a power antenna on your 05 SE huh? are you sure its not built into the windshield on the top of the passengers side?

how about you go buy a $10 voltmeter/multimeter and test your own leads?

Uhhh, no. I don't have a power antenna. I thoght that it might be one of the things that are pre-wired.

I'm sorry if I have offended you by asking this. I was working on this earlier today and had to pack everything up and come to work. So I thought I might see if anyone else might know from experience.

In the posts that I read, there were people stating that the power antenna connections were in the trunk, but since I don't have one, I wasn't sure where to look, or if it was even an option on this year model.

didnt mean to offend... i ran my power line off of some ACC fuse under the rear seat, notched the cover and ran the wire out of the box to the trunk

Hey, no worries man. And after re-reading my post, maybe I should have been a little more clear-er.

I was looking to the antenna power lead for the remote connection to the amp. I went ahead and used the one that I found, it is on and off with the key. The only problem is that it is not hot with the key in ACC position, which I would assume means that it also will not be on with the [insert acronym here] feature that keeps the radio on after the key is off until the door is opened.

My power conection is made at the same spot that the battery connects to the fuse box, and the ground is made using a bolt that is holding a connection down over by the drivers rear door.
