alpine type r box
I ordered my type Rs now i need to get a box. I would like a ported box, the manual says that it requires 1.7 cubic feet per sub. I found a box with 1 vent in the middle with 1.6 cubic feet per sub, would this work or is it too small?

nope your good to go mang. it goes by post area so the company making the prefab boxes have that taken into consideration. personaly i like to build my own that way it fits exactly how ya want it and to specs of sub/subs being used. but thats up to the individual. prefab boxes(store bought) are fine for those who just dont have desinging and buildin one as an option. you should be fine with that box though. any pics by chance? or link lol. ill come back on in the am, i got some pilars to build hahaaaa

The vent area that is recommended for the type r is .305 cubic feet. The box that ive picked out has only .195, any ideas on that? Also i was lookin at your profile and i noticed the A pillars you got, did you make those or what? Id like to have the same thing except with tweeters in em.
