Need stereo help real quick.
Some of the links are broken in the stickey, and I can be pretty stupid about cars when its not spelled out for me. I got the Ribbon adapter harness for my 2000 bose system. Do I still need the interface PAC adapter? Which version, Bose 1 or 2? And which install kit do I use? Does Car Toys carry any of the plastic deck install kits that acctualy hold the deck?
I apprecciate the recap and the help.

As for the wiring harness, I'm not sure because my Aurora was non-bose. For the Bose systems, I'm not sure if you can use the same wire harness or not. I don't see why not though since the headunits are basically the same. My only concern would be that there would be no way for the Bose amp to turn on without the factory headunit due to the lack of there being the headunit to send a signal to the amp to turn on. (data signal, not voltage.) A bose owner will need to chime in to tell us if you NEED one of the PAC interfaces, or if you can get away with just using the schosche wiring harness. Sorry I couldn't help you any more than this!
Wire harness that might work:
