Speakers Differences
Curious who is the best for bass speaker wise? Lately Ive been using 2 10 MTX kicker comps with a 700 watt amp. And wondering if there is anything that can get more of a kick being pushed by the amp?
Or if I should just redo the trunk, and go from scratch lol.

Hey Arkaos. the question that you have is one that has been a never ending debate for generations. The thing is , there is no real solid answer to it because there are so many different subs out there that it really comes down to a persons own opinion. I love mtx subs. I have a 9500 15 in my car and it is awesome. in my opinion, it is one of the best hitting subs on the market, but the fact that you will need a brick house amp to push it and even need to bump up the charging system to feed the amp makes it become less of a good cost efficient sub. I also really like their 7500 subs a whole lot as well, but one thing I can say about kicker is, they arent much in the area of sound quality but they are a loud sub. I put a regular comp in my fiancees car and i am very impressed with it, and between the price and the fact that it is easy to find a 300 watt amp inexpensively these days, if you arent tryin to spend a fortune, that is a solid sub. Let me ask you a few questions. What kind of amp are you running? what kind of box do you have?(boxes are crucial to getting the most out of your sub) What kind of music do you listen to the most? do you want a single sub, or two subs? do you want major boom? just a solid bottom end? or something punchy? Answer those, and ill help you figure out on your own what would be the best way to go.

The box is a memphis custom with 2 10" openings, and a circulation cutout.
I listen to Metal usually, depends on the mood and if my speakers can handle it without going distorted.
2 Subs, would be prefered.
And yes I want extreme punch with boom lol.
I was thinking about getting 2 of their 10s, but the sound was mainly bass.
