Is there a different speaker that i could put in the back dash b/c the ones in there is not doing a good enough job.. Sounds like only lows coming from them!!

They are designed specifically to output only lows. Its very irritating as a passenger as all you hear is bass coming from those things right next to your head. You can replace them with whatever you want, but all that will play is bass.

If you want to get stereo speakers on there, you'll need new speakers, a 2 channel amp with a high level input (or a high level to RCA converter), and splice into the rear door speakers to get the signal from them. However, doing so will also cause you to lose most of the lows, so you'll probably need to add a sub as well.

I haven't figured out any other way to do it.

its never tooo much bass WHHAAAATTTT??!?! i cant hear yoouuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!

k but as he said, they are wired that way from the amp, so even if you change them it wouldnt make any difference, unless you wanna run wires from the door then it shouldnt be a problem

Except as I noted, the wires from the door don't have much bass at all. I spliced the wires that go to the door as the high level input to my 2 channel stereo amp, then amplified that to the rear speakers so they have their own amp. I even flipped the bass boost switch and there is hardly any bass coming out of them. They're kicker 6x9'* too, so they're supposed to have a bit of a punch.

What I did to solve the bass problem was splice the original outputs to the rear 6x9'* (which had only bass) into a high level to RCA converter, to a mono amp. That part was actually pretty easy.

You could do what I did. Tear out all of that Monsoon CRAP! I replaced everything with Kenwood. H/U, front components, rear door speakers, and rear 6x9'*. All powered by a Kenwood 4-channel amp.

How did you run 6 speakers off of a 4 channel amp?

I seriesed the right rear 6x9 to the right rear door speaker. Same with the left side. Since everything is 4-ohm, new wired, and going through a regular amp the bass is fine.

My HUD on my 02 works just fine. It just doesn't show radio stuff on it like radio station or CD track.
