looks like it will be a great setup
my suggestion (if it can fit the budget) would be to go a few models higher on the pioneer HU and possibily even their premier line so you can get 4volt preamp outputs.
what are you thinking for wires? While they may be "minor" they are actually really important. So factor them into the budget.

I like the 5800MP and it matches the interior.
I have been THRILLED with my DEH-P4400 thus far. had that for years now.

I'm not saying hte 5800mp is bad choice. If I were in the market for a HU right now that would probably show up in the final list of contenders.

I have the Infinity 6.5 separates in my Maxx, and I love how they sound. But be warned: they require alot of power. My Sony headunit pushed them ok, but I was getting nowhere near the sound they could put out, so I bridged my 4 channel Kicker 200.4 to run 2 channels. They sound awesome now.
Just FYI, here is what I have: Sony MP3 player w/aux input, input has XM receiver and Ipod on it (switched by DPDT switch), Infinity 6.5 separates up front and coaxial in back doors, pair of Infinity 12" dual voice coil subs wired to 1-ohm load, Kicker 200.4 and Kicker 600.1. Now thats alot of gear in a small car.
