Volume goes up when I turn it down, vice versa
I hear this is a common problem, but I can't find it in a search. My radio (stock Delco AM/FM/cassette) has a 360-degree volume ****. Sometimes when you turn it up a few "clicks," it turns down on the first "click" before going up in subsequent "clicks;" the reverse holds true as well.
This isn't a problem for me. It'* just a very minor annoyance, and I'm wondering if anyone (my dealer, Pontiac, GM, Delco) is obligated to fix it. If not, I'm willing to crack it open and start soldering stuff. They're like $10 on eBay if I screw up, anyway.

I know some car have a thing where the radio will turn up or down depending on how fast you are going, so it covers up the road noise...
If its not that I would say that your dial on the radio is messed in which case hit ebay. Cause unless you know what your doing it can be a pain in the :booty:

i had this problem too. you can a) live with it, b) turn the **** one notch each way and just keep going back n forth seemed to work for me, or c) upgrade the cd player/stereo. i'd go w/ C.

I have the wheel controls for my factory stereo and I have the problem of the volume going down completely when I hit a bump, or put on the turn signal. When the volume is going down all my wheel controls do not work and sometime it even changes track number or switches from CD to radio or vice versa. This problem just started happening little by little till now I can't use my stereo at all because I want to put my fist in it. Is anyone else having this problem?
