MY QUESTION:

can i use this installation kit in my 93... I know that the mounting of the radio changed in some year and I cant remember

It might need some modding to work. I know 94+ do have different connectors then our 93'*. MIght need to do some work for that again, but maybe not.

It'll work. Won't be perfect but it'll do the job. Same mounts as the 1994+, and I had a 1994+ 7-band EQ CD deck radio in both my 1992 SE and old 1993 SSE.

ummm.....I though that the mounting holes were slightly different in the 94+

OBE how much different was the radio in there and what did it look like. I want this thing to look good and not like crapola if i decide I want to use this mounting kit

All that is different is the mounts on the 1992-1993 angle back -just use a spacer and a longer screw for the top screw on the left side. The holes are in the same place other than the top one being set back 3/8".
The original radio in my 1992 was the standard AM/FM/Cass and in my 1993 it was the 5-band Cass.
