WELL...after replacing my 1200 watt 2 channel SPL amp with a 2400 d class Fusion amp, I turned it down and STILL ended up blowing my MTX subs. Well, one of them. So I bought some Memphis Audio 12s off a guy on craigslist. I turned the amp down lower, and they hit certain notes harder, however, they were single voice coil and some notes didnt coem through as good. So after pounding in them for a few weeks, I find this guy selling a pair of Audiobahn 12W08'* ( I believe, it may be be 12W08T) on craigslist for $250. I figured I only lived once and I want to actually spend more than $150 on a bad set and to go for it. First thing that I noticed is that the magnet was at least 3 times the size of the previous subs I had and they weighed a good 30, 40lbs apiece. So I get them mounted and I have a smaller ported box they are in, and man! They literally make the car sound like thunder is coming out the trunk. They are 1500 RMS apiece and the pair is 6000 watts, and even with my amp at 40%, they still slam. I am upgrading the box tonight to a bigger ported box, and Im going to take a video of it and post it if I can. I literally have to turn the bass down on the stereo because it makes my ears hurt. Its quite ridiculous and it turns heads. I would suggest these to ANYONE looking for a good sub!

cool man sounds bangin. ha now if the bass bug bit hard enough start saying buy buy to your cash lol its an addicting lifstyle that is on going lol bass heads are never "done" building/ putting sounds together. pics? please ha?
