Angel Eyes Staying On?
Ok, well some background info, I flushed the coolant today and alot of water was sprayed near the fog lights. I guess water could do this but heres whats happening.
My LED rings won't turn off. I found it like that when it started getting late and darker. I noticed it and went inside and hit the button to turn them off, later i realised they were on again, so im like wtf? I though maybe my brother was toying with me. But anyway, i go in and i hit the button (Which is on the side of the shifter) and I have an Indicator LED under the dash so i know when its on or off indside the car. The indicator LED inside turns on and off with the button, but the angel eyes stayed on still. I dont really know how that would work. I could understand if maybe the button had borken in the on position or something but the LED inside works on/off. I had to unplug them to turn them off.
And while were on the subject, is there a way to make the LEDs brighter? Can I put more power to them or something somehow.

as far as your Led'* staying on, im not the best source at all but ill put in my thought. the wiring is all screwed up cause it was soaked, maybe a fuse is gone.
But my question is what is the LEDs wired into? mine are tied into my parking lamps.
For the brightness, ive had 2 sets. the first set was screwed up ( my luck) i noticed my newer set were bluer/purpleish in color compared to the other. They were both tied into the parking lamp wires. This might depend on what you tied the LEDs into, or like i had with different LED'*. I believe that Hella changed comapnies at one point ages ago and there might be newer leds out there. dont hold me to that, i think it was Hella that changed the manufacturer of the LED'*.
hope this helps

Hella did change the Manufacturer, I had a bad set of LEDs to start with, they replaced them, then decided I didn't like the blue-ish color, so I got amber LEDs to replace them and to match the parking lights.
I have the LEDs on their own wiring, I used what was in the box and fed the wires up through to the shifter, the shifter came out of a GA I think, but the button on the side was an overdrive button, but I wired the LEDs to that, and then i got another LED to put under the dash so i know when its on, because its hard to tell by looking at the button.
