rear firing or firing up
I am gonna redo my system in my bonny, and I need some opinions. I am gonna go with two subs and it'* gonna be kinda custom. I'm thinking of going with a false floor or just building a box for two 12'*. Which way will it sound better firing toward the rear or firing up. Or will it make much of a difference??
Opinions are appreciated,
Tim

Definately firing towards the back of th car, makes a very noticeable difference. If you like to actually feel your bass open the hatch in the middle of the back seat

Thanks, that'* probably the way I'll do it. I was kinda leaning toward sinking the amps into the floor, I like that look better.

amps need a lot of airflow to prevent overheating... keep that in mind when sinking them into the floor.
what are you going to do with the spare tire?

Yeah I've thought about both of those issues. As for airflow I'm gonna do crossflow fans pushing and pulling air across the amps.
As for the spare tire, I am looking at a design that will allow access to the spare, by lifting up amp rack itself.
