im not sure if its exactly what your looing for, but crutchfield sells the connectors with the wires and all, makes for a clean install and you dont need to cut the wires, they run around 8 bucks, also be careful wireing like that, it might jack up you impedence on the head unit and fry the outputs

yes im worried about that now......i figured when they came from the factory wired so that the tweeter could be hooked up and the 5 1/4" connector had full range signal, that i could hook a full range 5 1/4" instead of a delco bass speaker.........but now im not so sure it will work that way

there are 2 sets wires in each door....one for the Tweeter and one for the 5.25...BOTH of the sets of wires has the full range signal....the Factory Tweeter has a Freq blocker to prevent the low notes from damaging the speaker.....and then the other set of wires powers the 5.25 at full range

Yeah. Like TISbonneville said above...... I picked up conversion plugs at Circuit City. $8 for a pair. Just go back to their installation area and tell the guys you are upgrading speakers in the Bonne. They'll give you the right connectors.

well i was just worried about the ohm load on the radio, since i would be connecting 2 speakers to one connector that is in the door............the way my speakers are at the moment, is the signal goes to the 51/4, then passes through that and heads to the tweeter.........

i have the 8 speaker stereo in my 96 ssei, and im pretty sure its not bose, and the guys and best buy thought i had a crossover on my front speakers..........................so there is a bass blocker on the tweeter, but is there anything on the 5 1/4"*? is there a thing on it that blocks the higher frequencies?

i guess this is what i'm trying to say.......i'd like to do this without messing up the resistance/ohms between the headunit and the speakers
