What AMP to choose??
What is a good 4 channel amp with line level inputs, to use with the Stock CD Player. It will be running a set of Infinity 505CS components for the front doors. For the rear deck, it will be powering a pair of Infinity 6952i'*. The 6x9'* in the rear are 100w RMS, and 300w max. The comps are rated for 75w RMS, and 225w max. I was looking on the www.futureshop.ca website, and i found a Kenwood 4-channel amp, but it doesn't put out all that much in the way of power..

Well what is a good wattage i should look for to have it sound good. I'm guessing the stock deck only puts out like 10 watts or so to each speaker, so i figured that it would sound much better if wired into a 4-channel amplifier. I'm looking for advice and tips on what to do...

Okay i think i might have found one, it is the MTX RT404 http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/MTXRT404
Is this a good choice for what i want to do? I believe it is 37.5 X 4 @ 4. It also has speaker level inputs so it is compatible. The price is a little high though ($289.99) but thats okay. There is also the Kenwood still. It is priced at $209.99. These are Canadian Dollars by the way, not american

MTX have great sub amps, but they sometimes take a lil more power coming in then most. They generally have pretty high distortion though, so you might not want MTX for your main speakers. Sub amps from them are nice. Kenwood makes good solid amps, and they have nice decks as well. I'd say get a nice 50-75wx4 amp for your speakers. Any quality company, like Kenwood, Fosgate, JBL, Mutant, Sony ES, etc will be good. Don't get weird names you've never heard of.
