Lightbulb Head Unit Help..

So I finally got my bracket and ribbon harness for my 02 Bonneville.. I looked through the sticky on how to install the headunit.. I got it somewhat but as I read through it more I seen that you need an adapter to keep the door chimes and everything.. That is the confusing part to me.. I have NO idea what they are talking about on that sticky.. The harness I have right now is the GM07B ribbon harness.. Now, I dont know if I would still need another adapter or what.. PLEASE let me know soon, I am wanting to install my headunit sometime tomorrow.. Thanks

the factory head unit is tied into the door chimes. When you pull it you lose your chime. But the new wiring harness should come with a little black box that will replace your chime. Go to metraonline.com and make sure you got the right harness. They are expensive
