Default 00+ firewall question

I need to run the switch for my angle eyes into my car. I know on my 94 I drilled a hole in the passenger side firewall but my 03 seems to have alot more going on down under the carpet. I want to make it look as good as possible with as less carpet removal as I can, I know on the 94 when I took the carpet off it seemed to never stay down after that. Any Ideas?

In all years there is something passing through the firewall.

A GM mechanic buddy of mine showed me a couple times a tubelike thing going through with the wires in it.. Using a coathanger you can sneak through those types of boots. In the 92-99 there are a couple of cables etc that go through for hood release and things like that. I'd piggyback through with one of those.
