Hows Pioneers speakers?? I"m lookin for a cheap affordable speakers and I cant go with the better stuff like JL'*, Infinity and such.. but I know better then to go with Jensen or Audiovox.. or anything you can pick up from Wal Mart.

Well yeah Pioneer is prolly the best of the cheapys. Sound pretty decent with aftermarket HU

i tihnk rockford fosgates are better and they are the same price, i had boston speakers but i just didnt tihnk they were worth the price since im not trying to make a competition stereo and and im not trying to make myself deaf i dont need somethat that holds clarity at 120 decibals, so i returned them and got the rockford fosgates at bestbuy for like 1/4 the price, i compared them to the pioneers and the sony xplods, the xplods didnt even compare, the pioneers it was a tough call but i tihnk the fosgates are a little better, the pioneer 4-ways arent good, i tihnk it has to do with the rubber ring, it sounds kind of muffled, but the 3ways that have the cloth ring are nice but id say fosgates or pioneer are probably about equal, the pioneer are higher wattage but the fosgates have a slightly better sound

Anywho... I picked up Pioneer ST-693'* ( year older then the 694'* ) for $40 with tax monopoly money.. I couldn't really get anymore fancier stuff cause of DAMM HOUSE BUDGET

they're the cheapy version 2 way.. but they call it dual voice coil.. pfft.. yea right... just looks like an added piece of paper on top of the woofer.. but eeh.. if they'll have to do .... for now.. till I get the house budget in order.. then I can save up and do more work with it.. my bro will be giving me his 2 12" JL Audios when he replaces them later ( I love hand me downs from him ).. will then look to get a good amp ( and reasonably priced ) to power them.. maybe JBL'* as they're usually underated. Fosgates are usually rated @ what they are. So JBL would be my choice.. but again.. those and among a lot of things will have to be on the back burner till we get settled on the house budget.

Haven't got a chance to hook anything up yet as I"m still waiting for someone with the pin outs of the BOSE amp to let me know which wire goes to which speaker so I connect it to my HU ( yet another hand me down from my nice bro.. hee hee.. Clarion deck.. woo hoo.. and it'* orange lit so it will match ). Then I have to rewire the antenna to also accept my scanner.

I think those bastid may have however also ripped out the sides of where the stock radio mounts would go as I don't see any side mounts in the opening.. I will take a pic of it and show you guys what I mean.. DAMM CROOKIT BAST!DS !!! and people wonder why there'* war..
