Default Stereo Problem

So i am havin troubles with my cd player -- the cd player wont turn on, i know it has power because i can eject the cd or put the cd in... but i have no power... i know it'* not the fuses or anything i checked those but what else could it be? Has anyone heard of this before?

if it is ejecting, it has power

if it has power, and it doesnt work... bad unit

okay --- so because i thought my aftermarket stero was not working i decided to put the stock one back in so i can have some tunes, but i put the stock one in turn on the car and nothing --- no power to the stero... but if i turn on my lights the lights on the stero turn on just nothing else --- this is really pissin me off right about now...
any help would be greatly appreciated

Still sounds like a blown fuse. There is more than one fused circuit that powers the radio. I don't have a manual here in front of me, so my general rule of thumb is pull and check them all. I'm guessing your backup fuse is popped, and that circuit is usually tied into something along the lines of the dome light, horn or cig lighter to give some common examples. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, good luck on hunting it down.
