What to look for at an install shop?
I got a new headunit for christmas and I can't install electronic things worth a ****, so I am looking for a good place for an install? Is there anything in particular I should be looking for?

the wiring harnesses make it so simple. it is like a 16 wire matching game.
you don't have to cut any of the original wires in the vehicle. simply match the color of the wiring harness to the wiring color of the harness that comes with the head unit. crimp those colors together and then just plug everything together.
stock wiring connector >>> walmart harness connector >>> head unit wiring harness connector >>> head unit

Yes, that'* right. One wire at a time.
It is actually very simple and you will take a lot more care than some of those installers.
Victor just had someone install the Sub and Amp in the T/A last week when I wasn't home. (If it didn't sound so good, I would have ripped it out)
The guy made a slopply mess of routing all the wiring and the battery connection was loose.
You CAN do it John. The question is, do you have time, since it is your primary driver.....and with school and work.

They make a wiring harness for your car that costs $15-$25 and will plug right into the factory wiring harnesses so that you don't have to cut and ruin the factory harnesses. Like mentioned above, you can do it and it shouldn't take you more than 45mins to an hour for a first-timer. It'* very quick and easy. 
Now if you saw the wiring harness and stereo compartment on a 2000+ model 
where you actually have to cut the plastic wall out of the back of the stereo compartment to make room for an aftermarket stereo to fit. And then there'* that harness. Be glad you have a '92! Cakework!
