Default IPOD

OK i love my factory bose system, it sounds great and has enough bass for me. My problem is i bought an IPOD thinking that some how i would be able to tie into the imput that the cd changer would hook up to, i dont have a CD changer but thought i would still have some type of input. I have no input of any kind, is there one some where that im not seeing, or is there another way to do it.

Well, two options that I can think of off the top of my head....

1) You can get a FM Modulator. That will transmit the IPODs signal to your FM Radio (like a mini FM Radio transmitter). Cost is about $40 if I remember correctly...

2) Cassette adapter (if you have a casette). I'd go this method if you could as it will give you better sound quality. About $20 or so.

You might be able to find an inline adapter for the FM modulator, like some cd changers, where it goes between the antenna, and the deck.

Good idea. BTW, did the '92-'99 models ever come with a factory CD Changer?

I dont think you would have an input on the deck itself so what your going to have to do is find an adapter for the antenna input.. so you can run analog inputs to it.

I want to guess that right now its a different deck, but hopefully someone here can confirm.

I would bet that you do have an external aux input for the factory CD changer. We need the complete radio wiring diagrams from the factory service manual.

Not a rca-plug type, but there has to be something for the remote CD-changer input. Even my radio has a remote input on the back. I think it'* a matter of looking at the wiring diagrams.
