I OWN the three way version of the first pioneer link (blue ones).

I just want to let you know that these are great speakers in my humble opinion. Not too expensive and great sound quality. The bass needs some backing up (like baffles and/or sound deadening) but low mids, mids and highs all are produced quite nicely. I think you will enjoy them if you so choose them.

I have them running straight from a Clarion DXZ535.

I still have my factory head unit. And I just want a little more sound,
So going to upgrade the door speakers & add a amp to both the
6x9 & 61/2 on the door.

I know, It'* biased, but I'd go with Infinity... http://www.cardomain.com/item/INFREF9602I?vq_id=none

But, the pioneers will be good too. IF you wire in an amp, get some pictures because I want to be doing the same thing but am unsure as to where the factory wire harness is routed. 6x9'* will be no problem, but the fronts are the ones I am unsure of.
