Can I hardwire Sirius to a 2002 SSEI factory radio?
I need a little help on this. I am getting a plug and play Sirius satellite radio and want to hardwire it into the factory radio on a 2002 ssei. Is there a way I can do this? If so can someone explain to me how? (I am thinking that maybe there is a cd changer input on the unit or something)
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

There is an adapter for newer cars that dont want to remove the factory cd player, i have a 2006 G6, and everything is controlled by the cd player oil life etc..... there is a kit made by periphial or something like that, check that out, go onto ebay and type in xm radio, there should be something available out there.

What do you mean you have done the homework? Have you taken the head unit out and seen if there is an input that could be used? Or looked at something similar to the ipod2car? I am curious about how far you looked into it. Seems like everything is difficult to do on this car. Thanks.

Yanked the unit several times. There is no additional plug for a changer as on the back of Tahoe and Suburban type units. (Had no trouble on my Tahoe). I have researched all the various Ipod2Car style hookups and they all tell me I'm out of luck SOME cars came from the factory with a CD changer plug in the trunk behind the seat. I have torn all that down and there is no plug. Do a search on my other posts for more details. I'll be happy to answer any other questions you have. I feel your pain.
