HU w/usb port
Has anyone tried hooking a usb Hard drive to the usb port? I'm thinking it would work, it'* just a giant thumb drive you could hide in the center console and get a power inverter to power it?

I have tried to get a 40GB USB Laptop hard drive to work with mine. So far no go.
But i have a few ideas.
I know it can work, because my Head unit says it supports the 20,30 & 40 GM Hard drive MP3 players. I just need to find the right format to format the drive in and get a better USB Power converter for it.
Right now im using 1GB Pens drives i got for $11 each

I would suggest looking on the manufactures website for your Head unit to make sure it can read that big of a Hard rive first
