Default CD/Cassette Unit

I'm getting an E22 code from the CD player (2000 Bonneville). Everything I read about says "take to a repair shop." Also, the CD player occasionally tries to eject when I'm just playing the radio and there'* no disc in it. Is this worth fixing or time for another radio?

I don't know alot about the factory radios in the newer Bonne'* but it sounds like the CD function is done. The amount of money the dealer will want for a replacement or to send it out for repair, will probably be unreal.
So this leaves you two options either try and find a replacement from a Wrecker or go with an aftermarket.
If you go with an aftermarket don't be surprised if the stereo shop tries to sell you on a expensive harness between $100-$200.
This harness, if needed helps to relocate the factory radio.
