Default bulldog 791 3 questions on the wiring for 93 bonne

I got my bulldog 791vats bypass today and i just want to make sure i know everything before I start cutting in.

From what i can see, i will only be using 5 of the wires from the bypass module

Blue - goes to whatever remote start is installed
orange - goes to a clean metal ground

red - 12v constant power - i assume i want this to go to one of the red 12v constants in the ignition harness, is this the best place to put it??

white - ignition positive in - This one i am not sure about, but my assumption is that this would be the pink wire in the ignition switch harness.

Yellow - bypass output - this goes to one of the white wires in the orange casing in the steering column, does it matter which one i use, how do i know which one to use?

green, purple & yellow/black are not used.

here is the link to the documentation on the model of bypass i have.

Any info is great, thanks as always!

Sounds about right...

Blue - goes to whatever remote start is installed
orange - goes to a clean metal ground
Yes.

red - 12v constant power - i assume i want this to go to one of the red 12v constants in the ignition harness, is this the best place to put it??
Yes. The BulldogSecurity remote starters have three unswitched power connections, and their wires for those circuits are all red. Two are high-current wires (look to be about 12-gauge) to switching relays; the third is a lower-current power feed for the remote starting processor/receiver itself.

white - ignition positive in - This one i am not sure about, but my assumption is that this would be the pink wire in the ignition switch harness.
Yes. This probably signals that the ignition is on, which would be the cue for the VATS bypass box to do its thing.

Yellow - bypass output - this goes to one of the white wires in the orange casing in the steering column, does it matter which one i use, how do i know which one to use?

Ah-ha; they've changed things a little bit. These connections are not quite the same as the 781 has.

Take a look at the instructions again: They're telling you that the yellow wire is connected to "the white wire in the VATS tube that shows voltage when the key is turned to the ON or RUN position." So without a key in the ignition, you should find that one wire is live; the other wire is dead. The one that'* dead without a key in the lock is the one you're supposed to connect the yellow wire to.

Hey, I see from those instructions that the 791 will learn the VATS resistor value automatically by doing its own testing on your key. Neat.
