Default subwoofer direction

for those who already have systems in their bonneville: which way sounds better? facing the subs towards the rear of the car or toward the passenger compartment? anybody have any suggestions?

subs sound better pointing towards the back of the car.. that way the bass fires off the trunklid and makes the tunk into basically an enclosure for pressure to develop
