Default Factory Car Radio

I have one of those Factory cd player versions.MyCar is a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. I removed the battery and replaced it with a new one and my cd player won;t operate i tihnk its some kind of theft lock.... I am not sure what to do i check the connectiosn and it is all hooked up right do i haveto brign it somewhere to get it unlocked or is there another alternative? Any advice is appreciated

yep, you will have to take it to a dealer unless you do a search on google for Gm theftlock and find a phone # to call with your VIN. They will give you a # to enter to unlock and change the code or turn the theftlock off.

the Google theft lock will not work.

anyone that has the FSM for 95 it lists the instructions for code retreval

there is a way to turn off the theft lock BTW

I bought the car used with no manual... im not evne sure what that INflator tihng is in the trunk could someoen enlightne me ?? has an on off swithc and what looks liek an air hose attachment hhmmm yeah but if anyone can help me unlock my radio i would greatly appreciate it. Oh yeahonem ore thing anyone know where i could buy a seat warmer that could install inside the seatI think heated seats are a nice luxury

There is supposed to be a black 'Pontiac Accessories' bag in the trunk. In the bag is an air hose to attach to the inflator, various air-line fittings, first aid kit, gloves, rags, flare, bungey cord, rain coat, and spot light. Seems like 99% of the cars equipped with that inflator nozzle are missing the accessories bag and it'* contents -I've been lucky and had the bags in both my 1998 SSE (with only some of the contents) and my old 1999 SSEi had all the contents in the bag yet. My 1997 SSE 40th Anniversary Edition parts car had the accessories bag stolen from it between the time my brother looked at the car for me and the time I picked it up from the insurance salvage auction lot.
