Default Factory Installed or Aftermarket XM for 2005 Safari van

Hi!!

I absolutely LOVE XM in my Saturn. However, I am lending out the car to my middle brother and instead I am driving one-way 160 miles between central Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I want to either purchase and have my local GM dealer to install a radio with XM or to purchase an aftermarket XM/AM/FM/CD box for my van. Three questions:

- is it still possible to get a FACTORY radio installed in the van? My van is a 2005 model.

- if not, how hard would it be to have an aftermarket unit installed, either by the local Chevy, GMC, or Best Buy?

- what am I missing?

Settummanque!

i think getting a oem radio sounds expensive, if you get an aftermarket radio then you have to buy the xm add on for over a hundred more for most brand

I have the delphi skifi2, its got an integrated fm modulator so i can play it in my car and then put it in my work truck. plus i have a boombox for the camper and a cradle so i can listen in the house. seems like the way to go if you have to pay for each subscription
