Haven't had any audio in my car since I made that trade. I'm getting a little desperate for some sound, lol. The silence is deafening.
Subs came in as expected last week on Friday and they're in perfect shape. They look brand new with the exception of a little bit of dust as could be expected. Pictures to come soon. I'll also be re-wiring my amps.

Its cold, my sister in law'* car is still in the garage after needing new brake lines and new fuel lines, and as I recently discovered, a new rear caliper. When her car leaves the garage, mine goes in so I can get the sound system put together again.

I've started getting the materials together recently.
I ordered power wire from KnuKonceptz.com as I need to replace some of it and re-design how its all hooked up. I will be re-using some of the cable, but not all of it.
12 feet of oversized 8 AWG CCA (for the two stereo amps)
6 feet of oversized 4 AWG CCA (for the mono amp)
6 feet of oversized 1/0 AWG CCA (power to distribution block)
4 feet of 10 AWG copper cable (sub wire)
I also ordered a distribution block for ground:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
And a ring terminal for the power:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
And I just ordered the sub box terminals, two pairs:
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...ton%20DESL-18G
I'll probably head out to home depot on Saturday to get the materials to build the box.

Stereo shops wont use terminals for enclosures, the plastic can make a droning noise at high volumes and power levels. I dont use em either. My box just has HiFi gold tipped wire going threw the box and caulked around it for a airtight seal
