Default Audio Question

Im putting an Kenwood HU into the G/Fs 99 SE. Do I need the special connecter like I would in my 02 SSEi, or is it just a simple pull and replace, aside from the new harness and deck holder thingy

But why pay extra if you don't need to. Use the extra money to buy swerve another happy meal.
